I got this for my wife and she said it has helped her some. It's thin so it's comfortable to wear and allows her to go about her daily activities without a bulky brace on her arm. I don't want to speak negatively about it but you are going to give up some effectiveness in exchange for the flexibility and comfort. I'm sure this is like many other similar products in that it works differently for everyone so it's a buy it and try it kind of thing and hope that it works for you.

Use this under my motorcycle gloves. Helps to keep the constance pressure off my wrist on the throttle side. The regular braces are too bulky.

This is nice and slim if you don't want to wear a bulky brace. It isn't quite as sturdy though, because of that. My hands/wrists are really small (my wrist is 6 inches around at the narrowest part) and I have to tighten it really far. I do really like the color a lot. One thing to keep in mind is that if you are going to use a computer mouse with this on, its surface has parts that are a little rubberized, so it doesn't slide smoothly on a desk surface. I like that it leaves my fingers and palm mostly free and is less bulky and less 'medical" looking than my other braces.

Although I did have to return these because the strap was right on the spot that I had injured and made it hurt more.
The glove was very nice and light weight. I think these would work great with someone with mild case of carpal tunnel. I needed them for an injury.
